Mrs. America is a TV show on Hulu. Its Chinese translation name would be"美国夫人“(Pinyin: měi guó fū rén).
The show is about the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). According to Wikipedia, this idea was started back to 1923 in America. Now after almost 100 years later, this fight for equal rights still has a long way to go all the over the world. Many people have taken many rights for granted without knowing the fight behind it. This TV show has successfully drawn my attention to some unequal issues we are still struggling with. I’m sure that language teaching and learning can spread information like this to help its development.
Besides the exciting story-line, I also love the music in the show. And the characters are very well played by many excellent actresses such as Cate Blanchett and Sarah Paulson and many more.
